I get constant compliments on this board. My Husband and I have both been on the board and it glides through the water in comparison to the cheap rental paddleboards. Have paddled on flatwater in lakes and rivers in Central Florida and love the ease of the handle and light weight.
Kudos to the packaging the Board arrived undamaged. Hoping to get a second one in the near future.

I got this board in March, and really wanted to get some time into it before I wrote just a basic review. Its now the end of September and I feel like I've had the time I've needed to be accurate about it. The board looks great right out of the box, after a few fin adjustments and several online chats with Cesar, I've got the board tracking great. I ride with my 3 year a lot, and it is very stable with us both on it. You can move around a lot on this board, from not even standing on the deck pad in the front -yes the nose will be under water, but thats half the fun of it for me- to back by the logo on the back. The costumer service is top notch. I've called and got what I needed, and when the handle on the board came untied, it dropped on the edge of my jet ski stand, hit the rail and put a hole in it. I was heading to San Diego for vacation the next week, so I went by to get it fixed. Once their not only did Cesar take great care of my board, he also hooked me up with a Kai to use while he was fixing my board. If you do decide on one these boards, your going to get a great board no doubt, the ONLY thing is undo the handle and make sure the knots are really tight. I'm even going to run a black zip tie through them just to make sure it doesn't happen again. Had the handle stayed tied, it would have gotten 5 stars for sure. You won't regret this board, or get tired of the compliments you'll get.

In a word, this board if fantastic! I spent the summer renting various boards in order to see which suited my needs best before purchasing, mainly testing 10'-12' hard boards and inflatables, and I couldn't be happier with my choice of the Creed Talon!
I live in NW Montana and am surrounded by hundreds of lakes and rivers to paddle on. The Talon is perfect for our lakes and slower/deeper rivers, and although it just arrived a few days ago, it's already visited several bodies of water. It is very stable, much faster than I expected, lightweight, well-built and gorgeous. I paddled the Whitefish River into Whitefish Lake, and it handles really well on both flat water and gentle rapids. It's effortless to paddle, turns great, and floats you well above the water. I tried a few 10-foot boards, and although they may have been a tad more responsive, I always had water sloshing over my feet, as they didn't have as much buoyancy. This may not be an issue if you paddle for short stints, but I am usually out several hours, and it drove me crazy plus made my feet cold in our glacier-fed waters. I was going to purchase the Kai instead of the Talon, but this sloshing factor made my final decision to buy the Talon. Well, that and the fact that I'd like to teach my pup to ride on the board with me! I'm 5'9' and weigh 145, so I hope that info helps some of you with sizing. The large deck pad lets you move around anywhere you want and the fins give great tracking through the water. This is one of the few boards I tried (and I tried a bunch!) which tracks straight when you are paddling on your knees.
I do a bit of river paddling, and I would not suggest anything but an inflatable for low-water rivers that have strong rapids and rock/sand bars. I will be purchasing a second board for these rivers, as I'm sure the Creed, along with any other hard board brands, couldn't stand up to the rocks and whitewater. No offense, but when you encounter these obstacles, you hit pretty hard, and get quite a jolt, even on inflatables. I just don't see how you wouldn't crack a hard board on a pretty regular basis with that kind of use. I would love to have only one board for all applications, but I've found that's just not reasonable.
Take the pros advice and upgrade to the carbon paddle, add a leash if you're doing rivers, and also consider a shorter fin to swap out for the river runs. Then go out and have a blast on this great board!

I ordered my board on a Friday and they shipped it one hour later. Their shipping service was prompt and professional. My board arrived in mint condition. The Talon is a beautiful responsive board but stable enough to do a handstand on. I have only used it in flat water so far but plan to try surfing with it when Lake Michigan warms up! Great product and awesome service!!!!!!

THIS IS THE MOST BEAUTIFUL PADDLEBOARD WE HAVE EVER SEEN. BECAUSE STEVE HAS NOT USED IT YET, IT IS A LITTLE HARD TO DO A ACCURATE REVIEW, BUT ON LOOKS ALONE IT GETS A +11. THE PICTURE DOESN'T EVEN DO IT JUSTICE. THANKS CREED.COM/RANDY

Excellent customer service. Board arrived in San Francisco Peninsula area spotless in only 3 days. Everybody, young and old, loves the way the board looks. Very stable while paddling in a lagoon just using center fin without side fins attached. Haven't tried in waves yet as I am still learning but will do so as the stability of the board is letting me progress rapidly.

I looked at every SUP company out there. What sold me on Creed was the quality you're getting for the price. And the amazing graphics are icing on the cake.

Dear Randy and the Creed SUP crew...
I was looking for a couple of months for an SUP, as we have a house on the water in Lake Tahoe and have done Paddle Boarding the last few summers - way better than kayak. Now that I know SUP is definitely here to stay (as I see more and more folks paddling in Lake Tahoe and the Bay Area), I wanted to go all in on the sport.
Was very confused as to the different boards and brands being offered on the net - from high end expensive designer boards to low end cheapie boards. They are literally all over the net - all claiming to be either the best or the best price-performer. Then I saw a blog post that at the end quickly mentioned Creed SUP as a new mfgr and distributor of high end and beautiful SUPs. After spending about 10 minutes on the creedsup.com site and understanding the mfg process, commitment to sup quality and the beauty of the boards - I was really blown away by Creed SUP.
So - then I called the Creed warehouse and talked to Randy. Sooooo very helpful!!! No bull, no hard sell, just great info, including recommending why the Talon 11' board would be best for me, based on my planned SUP usage. Even gave me the straight scoop on other comparative board companies and products headquartered in San Diego. Again, no hard sell or knocking of the other companies, just great information...
So I ordered the 11' Talon Red Veg over the internet - and literally counted the minutes until delivery. When it arrived after 3 days shipping from San Diego to Northern California (Thursday before Labor Day weekend) it was even more beautiful than what I saw on the website. Went out on Sat, Sun, Mon - even got my son and wife up on the board. Awesome - stable, buoyant, fast, sleek and did I mention beautiful? On Labor Day paddled 10 miles at Lake Del Valle in Livermore - and had to jump into the water half way through just to cool down - SUP is a great core exercise. On both Sat and Sun people stopped me to ask about the cool board. My response? "Creed SUP!!! Check out their website, creedsup.com. You will not be disappointed!"
Love the Talon 11' Red Veg - thank you, thank you, thank you Randy and Creed SUP for a great board and an awesome experience. Next time I come to San Diego for work, I'm heading over to Chula Vista to thank you personally for a fantastic first SUP.
I'm now working a plan to get my wife onto a 10' Kai, so stay tuned...

I'm 69 years old and decided to try SUP. No previous experience surfing. Took a class up here in Central Oregon. Tried several boards. all were 11ft plus boards. went on line and found Creed. Talked to Randy. He outweighs me by 20 lbs. he assured me I would be happy on an 11ft Talon. He was absolutely correct. I also bought the adjustable carbon fiber paddle. At 6ft 6in with freakishly long arms the paddle worked great. I was able to drill two additional holes to make it fit me even better. Absolutely luv this set up. Looking forward to getting more proficient and heading to the coast for some wave action.
